The Opportunity

The company is seeking a dedicated Technology Sustainment & Logistics Analyst to join their team at COMNAVAIRLANT in Norfolk, VA. This role offers the chance to manage the lifecycle of crucial technological assets, ensuring their availability and functionality for Fleet and Staff personnel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the comprehensive product life cycle, encompassing acquisition, distribution, allocation, and final disposal of various technological assets.
• Maintain a real-time, detailed master inventory of approximately 450 Smart Phones, 75 Cell Phones, 20 iPads, 30 Hotspots, 5 Iridium Satellite Phones, and 1000 Print Devices (including Government Furnished Equipment, Defense Logistics Agency Printers, Multi-Function Printers, Multi-Function Devices, and other peripheral devices). This inventory must be posted and maintained according to COMNAVAIRLANT N6 directives.
• Initiate Move requests for Fleet and Staff personnel for the transition of Smart Phones between users.
• Address Smart Phone trouble calls, assisting Fleet and Staff users with uploading or reloading Smart Phone Operating Systems, and coordinating with the NGEN/NMCI Service Desk for resetting or reinstalling the Good for Enterprise (email) Application. Collaborate with COMNAVAIRLANT N61 as needed for all cell phone trouble calls.
• Manage International Phone Service for Smart Phone users traveling abroad, maintaining real-time accountability of assigned users and coordinating with the wireless phone vendor for reliable service transitions.
• Coordinate the necessary documentation for the repair or replacement of missing, lost, or damaged equipment.
• Coordinate unique Cell Phone requirements for special command training and ceremonial events, which involves collaboration with Commands, Wings, or Squadrons to identify service type (voice, data), quantity, location, and duration. Present these requirements to CNAL HQ FM or CNAL N62 for approval.
• Coordinate accountability and monthly usage reports, along with reconciliation reporting, with the designated phone coordinator for each of the 16 Type Wing Commanders and Training Activities.
• Maintain a real-time inventory, including name accountability, of Cell Hotspots issued to traveling Staff members and training team members.
• Proactively identify and address potential issues such as equipment failure, supply chain disruptions, and obsolescence to mitigate the risk of costly, mission-impacting failures.

Qualifications

Required:

• Active DoD Secret security clearance.
• An Associate’s degree in business administration, management, or a related business discipline, combined with a minimum of three years of experience in Navy logistics AISs.
• Education Substitution: One year of experience in Navy Logistics AIS management can substitute for one year of college education. This substitute experience is in addition to the minimum three years of experience required for the labor category.

Desired:

• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Access.

Salary Information

The proposed salary range for this position is: $43,500 – $86,900.

(Note: An additional provided salary range from an affiliate sponsor is $45,000 – $60,000.)
