What You’ll Actually Do
• Monitor: Perform a variety of field monitoring and data collection activities, which may encompass windshield surveys, visual impact assessments, viewshed analysis, wetland delineations, habitat assessments, migratory bird surveys, site monitoring, construction inspections, historic surveys, hazardous materials assessments, traffic noise impact analysis, and air quality monitoring.
• Analyze: Assist in collecting and compiling data, conducting technical analyses, and preparing comprehensive written documentation for various environmental projects.
• Document: Contribute to the creation and drafting of technical environmental documents and support all associated document deliverable activities for project completion.
• Present: Aid in client interactions and actively participate in project presentations, taking a supporting role in communicating findings and proposals.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Undergraduate (Junior or higher status) or Graduate student in Landscape Architecture, Environmental Design, Environmental Engineering, Geography, Environmental Science, Environmental Studies, Natural Resources, Archaeology, Chemistry, History, Ecology, Wildlife Biology, or Botany.
• Experience: Field work experience.
• Skills: Strong computer skills; good verbal and written communication skills; knowledge of NEPA; Geographic Information System (GIS) data collection and/or mapping.
