Corporate Marketing Internship | Synaptics

The Tone:
This is an internship at Synaptics, a company at the forefront of AI at the Edge by developing intelligent connected devices. Synaptics leads in AI-Native embedded compute, wireless connectivity, and multimodal sensing solutions that enhance digital experiences across various technologies like touch, display, and biometrics. This role offers a valuable opportunity to develop marketing skills within a high-tech environment, gaining hands-on experience by supporting technology launches, events, and digital media efforts. You will collaborate with corporate marketing, product marketing, and sales teams.

What You’ll Actually Do
Integrated Marketing & Product Launches: Support integrated marketing and product launch campaigns, helping to track tasks, deadlines, and approvals for various campaign activities.
Marketing Asset Creation: Assist with the creation, coordination, and updates of marketing assets, including presentations, datasheets, emails, and web content, ensuring consistent messaging and branding across all deliverables. You will also help maintain organized libraries of marketing assets and documentation.
Social Media Management: Assist with the execution of corporate social media content calendars for platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube, supporting copywriting, asset coordination, scheduling, and publishing. This includes ensuring alignment with campaigns, launches, and company milestones.
Event Coordination: Help coordinate event logistics, including booth assets, signage, demos, giveaways, and shipping, as well as post-event follow-up, reporting, and organization of materials. This also involves supporting timeline tracking and vendor coordination.
Performance Monitoring & Process Improvement: Monitor basic engagement metrics and help compile performance summaries for marketing activities, especially social media. You will also contribute ideas and support the continuous improvement of marketing processes.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Candidates must be currently seeking a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field; early career.
• Experience: No specific years of experience required. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction, be 18 years of age or older, and able to dedicate a minimum of 20 hours/week.
• Skills: Well-organized with strong attention to detail, self-motivated with an aptitude to learn quickly, excellent verbal and written communication skills, familiar with major social media platforms and basic analytics, and proficient in Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or Google Workspace. Possesses a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Bonus: Demonstrated interest in technology, hardware, or B2B marketing; experience with design tools, CMS platforms, or social media management tools.
