• Pay: $21.5 hourly
• Mission: To assist project teams with day-to-day client work and contribute to GMMB’s purpose of making a difference in the world.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Project Execution: Assist project teams with the day-to-day execution of client work, which involves conducting and summarizing research, writing and editing documents, pitching reporters, collecting stories, and compiling meeting notes.
• Reporting & Analysis: Help us understand the landscape and track success by performing media monitoring, conducting research, analyzing metrics, and compiling comprehensive reports.
• Client Strategy: Assist account teams in drafting and editing client-facing memos to provide clear, strategic counsel on various issues.
• Inter-departmental Coordination: Facilitate coordination of logistics and deliverables between different GMMB departments, including account, creative, digital, media, and production.
• Firm Services Knowledge: Learn about the diverse service offerings of the firm, such as communications, earned media, event planning, production, creative development, advertising, and social media.

The Must-Haves
• Background: A recent college graduate or a rising college junior/senior currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in a related field who is seeking to join GMMB for a paid summer internship program.
• Experience: Demonstrated media experience or interest.
• Skills: Strong writing and research skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, manage deadlines, and collaborate effectively.
• Bonus: Passionate and interested in health, social justice, reproductive health, environment, other progressive policy issues, or political campaigns.
