Social/Digital Marketing Intern | Vevo
The Tone:
This is a paid part-time hybrid internship at Vevo, located in New York, NY. Vevo is the world’s leading music video network, connecting an ever-growing global audience to high-quality music video content from top superstars to rising new talents for over a decade. This role provides a qualified student with hands-on experience supporting the Social/Digital Marketing team in promoting music videos, creating engaging social posts, and directly engaging with the audience, all while gaining insight into the media and entertainment industry. Interns will also have the unique opportunity to view music videos before their premiere and participate in pop culture moments.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Content Planning: Organize social content calendars and rollout tasks for various campaigns.
• Audience Engagement: Directly engage with Vevo’s audience across social media platforms.
• Asset Creation: Create compelling video and image assets using Adobe Express.
• Content Strategy: Brainstorm and build engaging content and activation ideas.
• Trend Monitoring: Stay up-to-date on social media trends and best practices, adapting strategies as needed.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Rising Junior or Senior currently enrolled in an accredited college or university with a desire to pursue a career in the media, music, or entertainment industry.
• Experience: Strong understanding of social media platforms including Instagram Reels, TikTok, and Facebook, along with experience writing copy that aligns with a brand voice. An understanding of social media scheduling tools is also required.
• Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, strong organizational abilities to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Discretion and professionalism are essential when working with high-profile talent.
• Bonus: Fluency in Spanish.
