What You’ll Actually Do
• Research: Conduct research on relevant cases, and other substantive legal or policy issues.
• Analysis: Analyze data and information relating to investigative matters.
• Drafting: Draft legal memoranda and other documents as requested.
• Meetings: Attend virtual meetings with the General Counsel and other members of the Legal and Investigative staff.

The Must-Haves
• Background: This internship is designed for law students seeking practical legal experience within a public oversight agency. Candidates must be currently enrolled in an accredited law school.
• Experience: While no prior professional legal experience is explicitly required, applicants must demonstrate their status as a law student at the time of application.
• Skills: Strong computer proficiency is essential, including the ability to expertly navigate and operate within the comprehensive Microsoft Office 365 environment. Required technical skills include familiarity and comfortable usage of MS Office Outlook for communication, Word for document creation, and Excel for data organization and analysis.
