Program Overview
This is an 11-week paid learning experience designed to provide hands-on experience, training, and a strong foundation for a bright future. As an intern, you will:

What It’s Like on Our Team
Our team is critical for ensuring that products deployed on the T-Mobile network are seamless, defect-free, and deliver best-in-class performance. We are responsible for:
- Rigorously testing devices and features to validate interoperability and optimize network performance.
- Designing and building innovative solutions and metrics to measure real-world product performance, directly informing launch decisions.
- Collaborating closely with cross-functional partners across engineering, marketing, and operations to protect and elevate the end-to-end customer experience.
What You’ll Do
As an intern, you will gain practical experience in product validation and problem-solving. Your responsibilities will include:
- Device Log Analysis: Learn and utilize industry-standard device diagnostic tools, such as QXDM, to collect and analyze device logs.
- Performance Investigation: Review drive test reports, investigate logs, and help identify failures or performance gaps.
- Reporting & Insights: Prepare benchmark reports, highlighting key insights, and clearly document observed issues.
- Issue Triage & Presentation: Participate in end-to-end issue triage and present findings to the broader team, enhancing your problem-solving and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Learn and use device diagnostic and log analysis tools (such as QXDM) to collect data, analyze drive test results, and identify device or network issues.
- Prepare benchmark and analysis reports, highlighting performance gaps, failure trends, and actionable insights.
- Participate in end-to-end issue triage by collaborating with the team and presenting findings and recommendations clearly to stakeholders.
What It Takes
We are looking for candidates with:
- Demonstrated Analytical Skills: A strong understanding of wireless communication principles and technologies.
Minimum Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Must be actively enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Graduate degree program.
- Employees of T-Mobile or Metro by T-Mobile are ineligible for Internships.
Important Note: Employer does not sponsor work visas for this position. This also applies to individuals who are students in F-1 status who desire sponsorship after they complete their education.
Relocation Assistance: May be provided to program participants who reside more than 50 miles from the internship location.
Compensation: Intern wages range from $26/hour to $47/hour. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on education/STEM vs non-STEM designation.
