Job Overview
Front End Checkout associates are crucial to providing a positive customer experience by efficiently managing transactions and assisting shoppers. Key responsibilities include:
- Greeting customers with a friendly smile and positive attitude.
- Accurately ringing up items and processing customer payments.
- Thanking customers upon completion of their purchase.
- Being readily available to help with customer questions and needs.
- Maintaining a helpful and positive demeanor throughout the shift.
This role may require standing for extended periods.
Compensation
- Hourly Wage: The pay range for this position is $14 to $27 per hour.
- The actual hourly rate provided will always meet or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
- Additional Compensation:
- Performance Incentives: Associates are eligible for annual or quarterly performance incentives based on their contributions.
- Premiums: Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid, ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour, under specific circumstances. These premiums can be based on factors such as work schedule, facility location, season, or specific tasks performed. Multiple premiums may apply simultaneously if the relevant criteria are met.
