Behavior Specialist | Center for Social Dynamics (CSD)

What You’ll Actually Do
• Implement: Implement personalized, evidence-based strategies, often utilizing play and games, to facilitate the development of communication, social, and essential life skills in children.
• Conduct: Conduct engaging and compassionate therapy sessions, bringing a positive presence to diverse settings such as a child’s home, CSD centers, or within the broader community.
• Collaborate: Work closely with clinical leaders by diligently following individualized treatment plans and accurately documenting client progress to ensure continuous growth.
• Adapt: Maintain flexibility and adaptability in an on-the-go role where client needs and daily activities are varied and evolving.
• Celebrate: Identify and celebrate small achievements and significant milestones with children and their families, reinforcing progress and fostering hope.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Early Career professional holding a H.S. Diploma or GED, passionate about making a difference in children’s lives and eager to learn Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies.
• Experience: No prior experience is required, as comprehensive paid training, hands-on mentorship, and clear career advancement pathways are provided from day one.
• Skills: Possess patience, energy, and optimism; demonstrate comfort working effectively with diverse populations; and committed to completing necessary training and thorough documentation.
• Requirements: Reliable transportation, flexible availability to accommodate afternoon, evening, and Saturday sessions, and proof of required vaccinations (MMR, Varicella, COVID – CA mandated).
