Supply Chain Analytics Co-op | Ahold Delhaize USA
The Tone:
This is a Co-op position at Ahold Delhaize USA, located in Quincy, MA. Ahold Delhaize USA is a division of a global food retailer, supporting a family of five leading omnichannel grocery brands across the U.S. This role matters because it offers an insider view of the grocery retail industry, helps drive business results through impactful project work, and fosters relevant business, technical, and leadership skills. • Mission: Deliver business-critical analytics solutions by collaborating with experienced Supply Chain Professionals.
• Tech Stack: Tableau, PowerBI, QuickSight, Microsoft Azure, AWS, GCP, SQL, SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), Python, Scala (plus), Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS)
What You’ll Actually Do
• Collaborate: Work with a team of experienced Supply Chain Professionals to deliver critical business solutions.
• Develop: Create business dashboards and implement predictive analytics models.
• Deploy: Build and deploy time-sensitive data engineering pipelines.
• Analyze: Work with large datasets and drive analytics projects to completion.
• Translate: Convert business needs into operational dashboards and models, particularly through PowerBI.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Must be currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program, or be a recent graduate in a related field. Possess comprehension of key supply chain areas such as logistics, warehousing, and demand management.
• Experience: Basic understanding or experience with predictive modeling (e.g., k-nearest neighbors, multiple-regression, neural networks) and forecasting techniques (e.g., ARIMA, ETS). Experience with cloud technologies like Microsoft Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of relational databases, SQL, SQL Server Management Studio, and SQL Server Integration Services. Expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or QuickSight. Strong knowledge of Python programming.
• Bonus: Experience or knowledge of Scala programming. Understanding of agile development methodologies and concepts.
