What You’ll Actually Do
• Lead Development: Oversee the design, development, testing, and deployment of high-performance, scalable web applications and services.
• Collaborate on Features: Work with product managers, UX designers, and other engineering teams to define specifications and deliver innovative features.
• Ensure Quality: Write clean, maintainable code, conduct thorough code reviews, and ensure code quality and consistency across the team.
• Mentor Engineers: Guide junior engineers, fostering continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and professional growth.
• Shape Architecture: Actively contribute to architectural discussions and decisions, helping to shape the future direction and technical roadmap of the platform.

The Must-Haves
• Background: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, for an experienced software development role.
• Experience: Over 5 years of professional experience in software development, with a strong focus on backend systems, distributed architectures, building and consuming RESTful APIs, and microservices architectures.
• Skills: Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Java, Python, Go, C#, or Node.js); solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles; extensive experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases; demonstrated experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Bonus: Experience with front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js), familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and advanced DevOps practices, experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment, or knowledge of message queues and streaming platforms (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
