What You’ll Actually Do
• Design and Develop: Lead the design, development, and implementation of robust, scalable, and high-performance software solutions for our core platform and microservices architecture.
• Provide Technical Leadership: Offer technical guidance, mentorship, and support to junior and mid-level engineers, fostering engineering excellence and continuous improvement.
• Contribute to Architecture: Actively participate in architectural discussions and decisions, ensuring systems are maintainable, extensible, and aligned with long-term strategic objectives.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, QA engineers, and other cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliver features from conception to deployment.
• Resolve Complex Problems: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues across the full stack, optimizing application performance, scalability, and ensuring system reliability.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience, with a core domain in software development focusing on backend or full-stack engineering.
• Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in software development within a high-growth environment, including hands-on experience with major cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Skills: Expert proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Java, Python, Go, C#, or Node.js; strong experience with relevant backend/frontend frameworks; solid understanding and practical experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases; demonstrated experience designing, developing, and consuming RESTful APIs and building robust microservices; familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes; proficiency with Git; and a solid understanding of distributed systems principles, data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.
• Bonus: Experience with event-driven architectures and messaging queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS), familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps), knowledge of observability tools and practices, experience with performance tuning, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and a passion for continuous learning.
