Gregory Construction, a Christian-principled and award-winning heavy civil contractor, is actively seeking motivated students to join our dynamic team as Survey Interns. This paid internship offers comprehensive, hands-on experience supporting critical field surveying operations on active infrastructure projects across multiple states.

This role is ideal for dedicated students with a strong interest in construction layout, advanced GPS technology, and field operations within the challenging and rewarding heavy civil construction sector.

What You’ll Do

  • Assist with essential construction layout, precise as-built surveys, and comprehensive topographic data collection.
  • Operate industry-standard Trimble Total Stations and Topcon GPS equipment under direct supervision from experienced professionals.
  • Accurately read and interpret complex construction drawings and detailed cut sheets.
  • Provide crucial support for earthwork, utilities, and concrete layout operations on diverse project sites.
  • Collaborate effectively with field crews, project engineers, and other project teams to ensure the highest levels of accuracy and project success.

What We’re Looking For

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Surveying/Geomatics, or other closely related fields.
  • Demonstrated willingness and ability to travel regularly and extensively to various project sites across multiple regions.
  • Possess strong attention to detail and an unwavering commitment to safety protocols and practices.
  • Hold a valid driver’s license.
