Compensation
$17 – $19 hourly
Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law.

Purpose And Summary Statement
This role provides essential customer service, marketing, and administrative assistance to the location manager and other personnel, ensuring smooth daily operations and efficient support.
Essential Job Functions
- Answers phones and effectively communicates with appropriate personnel to promptly resolve customer inquiries.
- Demonstrates strong attention to detail, prioritizes work daily, and displays excellent organizational skills to manage continuously changing demands.
- Coordinates, schedules, and prepares for meetings as requested.
- Receives and accurately records paid-on accounts, prepares, and balances daily deposits against sales reports. Ensures daily credit of deposits to the company’s bank account.
- Ensures accurate pricing and maintains a comprehensive record of current price lists.
- Compiles data and prepares invoices by gathering purchase orders, sales tickets, delivery tickets, load-out documents, and charge slips for billing, utilizing computer-based programs and software.
- Posts billing transactions to accounting records and ensures accurate and consistent billing methods.
- Orders, maintains, and reconciles inventory by reviewing shipping documents and bills of lading to verify products received/returned and transferred in/out, and accurately enters product movement.
- Coordinates physical counts of inventory, reconciles inventory variances, and posts inventory transactions.
- Assists with training and provides ongoing coaching for newly hired Administrative Assistants.
- Assists in monthly customer statement distribution.
Other Job Functions
- Assists department managers and sales staff with various marketing activities.
- Occasionally may be asked to drive and run local errands as requested.
- Adheres to GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA, and DOT policies and procedures as they apply.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Normally requires an associate’s degree in a related field or equivalent and related experience to demonstrate:
- A high degree of professionalism and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Strong mathematical skills, computer proficiency, and keen attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work hours other than those considered normal at various times throughout the year to meet deadlines and demands.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record.
- Ability and willingness to participate in required training, including education on GROWMARK’s policies and procedures and additional training related to the position’s requirements.
