Design Professional – Start Your Journey, Shape the Future

Location: Spokane

Employment Type: Full-Time | Non-Exempt

Salary Range: $24.47 – $34.37 per hour

What You’ll Do – Your Design in Action

  • Contribute innovative design ideas that reflect context, creativity, and client vision.
  • Assist in producing high-quality drawings, specifications, and material selections.
  • Collaborate with clients, consultants, and internal teams to ensure seamless outcomes.
  • Apply judgment to evaluate and implement architectural solutions for small to moderate projects.
  • Support construction administration including site visits, RFIs, and submittals.
  • Remain aligned with project schedules, budgets, and quality expectations.
  • Ensure deliverables reflect both design excellence and technical precision.

Requirements

Competencies

  • Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD required; Adobe Creative Suite proficiency required.
  • Working knowledge of zoning and building codes and construction systems.
  • Ability to generate and communicate strong design ideas.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Client-focused mindset and collaborative work ethic.

Essential Functions

  • Assist in the production of plans, specifications, and material approvals.
  • Support coordination of construction and design documents.
  • Assist with construction administration tasks including site visits and punch lists.
  • Address redlines and produce delegated project deliverables.
  • Participate in project coordination meetings.
  • Contribute innovative and context-driven design solutions.

Your Background – Build on a Solid Foundation

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional architectural experience.
  • Occasional project-related travel.
