Accounting Assistant (Part-Time, Remote)

Role Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our finance team as a Part-Time Remote Accounting Assistant. In this crucial role, you will play a vital part in supporting the financial health and operational efficiency of our company. Your responsibilities will encompass a range of essential accounting functions, requiring both accuracy and timeliness.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Assisting with the preparation of various financial statements.
  • Performing routine bookkeeping activities, including data entry and reconciliation.
  • Providing support in the effective utilization of accounting software and other financial tools.
  • Contributing to the company’s financial operations through precise and timely execution of routine tasks.

This remote position offers the flexibility of working from your own location while collaborating closely with our dedicated finance team.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

  • Proficiency in core accounting principles, including bookkeeping and a solid understanding of financial statements.
  • Demonstrated experience with various accounting software and financial tools.
  • A foundational understanding of basic finance principles.

  • Proven ability to work independently, effectively manage time, and consistently meet deadlines.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
