Job Title: Retail Sales Consultant (Part-Time)

Hours: 17.5 hours per week

The Opportunity

We are seeking a self-motivated, friendly, and experienced retail or customer service professional to join our dynamic Retail Team. As a Retail Sales Consultant, you will be the face of Travelex, representing our brand by:

  • Promoting our exciting range of travel money products.
  • Exceeding customer expectations with every interaction.
  • Taking ownership of the Travelex store as if it were your own business.

Key Accountabilities

  • Customer Service Excellence: Consistently deliver outstanding customer service and achieve individual KPIs/targets.
  • Sales Maximisation: Proactively promote and sell our full Travelex product range to all customers.
  • Digital Engagement: Embrace and leverage social media platforms (Google reviews, Facebook, Instagram) to enhance brand presence and customer engagement.
  • Operational Management: Monitor stock levels, thoroughly investigate any overs or shorts (discrepancies), and report findings accurately.
  • Compliance: Adhere strictly to all company and location policies, procedures, and legal requirements.

Your Experience & Attributes

  • Passion for Travel: A genuine enthusiasm for travel coupled with a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication and strong written comprehension skills.
  • Team & Independent Work: Ability to work effectively both independently and as a valued member of a team.
  • Numerical Aptitude: Enjoys working with numbers and pays close attention to detail in a structured environment.
  • Industry Experience (Desirable): Previous experience in retail, cash-handling, and/or banking is advantageous but not essential.
  • Accuracy & Detail: Demonstrated ability to handle routine activities with meticulous attention to accuracy and detail.
  • Performance Driven: A strong track record of delivering performance, evidenced by increased sales or consistent achievement against KPIs.
  • Relationship Building: Proven ability to build and manage strong relationships across all levels, both internally and externally.
