Role Description: Paid Summer Sales Internship

Southwestern Advantage is actively seeking ambitious college students from all academic majors for a dynamic paid summer internship position. This is an exciting outside sales role designed to immerse you in real-world business operations and customer engagement.

What You Will Gain:

Core Responsibilities

As a Southwestern Advantage Sales & Leadership Intern, you will actively engage in and be responsible for:

  • Engaging in consultative sales, understanding customer needs to provide tailored educational product solutions.
  • Communicating professionally and effectively with a wide range of families (approximately 3,000 to 4,000) from all economic backgrounds.
  • Building strong relationships and rapport with customers, fostering trust and loyalty.
  • Direct sales of high-quality educational products that benefit students and families.
  • Independently managing all aspects of your business, including:
    • Executing product ordering and inventory management.
    • Handling all sales transactions and maintaining accurate accounting records.
    • Developing and managing your own sales schedule and appointments.
    • Coordinating and executing product deliveries to customers.
