A Day In The Life as a Baker

As a Baker, you’ll find that no two days are ever truly the same, offering a dynamic and engaging work environment. To thrive in this role, you must possess a genuine passion for the art of baking. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide array of delicious creations, including:

• Baking a variety of fresh breads, cookies, and pastries.
• Producing intricate and delightful fancy desserts.
• Skillfully decorating cakes to meet our high standards.

Beyond the oven, our Bakers are also integral to providing an exceptional customer experience. You’ll engage with customers, sharing your enthusiasm and pride in the items you’ve baked, made, and decorated. This customer interaction is a ‘secret ingredient’ to your success.

Your work will involve operating various essential bakery equipment, including ovens, mixers, slicers, and proofers, all while ensuring that every product meets our stringent standards for quality, freshness, and safety.

When you’re not actively baking or assisting customers, you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining the presentation of our bakery department. This includes ensuring that our display cases and shelves are consistently clean, organized, and well-stocked, ready to satisfy our customers’ appetites.
