Pricing Analyst Intern / Student

Team Overview: AGS (Applied Global Services) Pricing Organization

The AGS Pricing organization is responsible for developing pricing strategies, building and enhancing pricing infrastructure and models, and supporting pricing proposals for the AGS business unit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain robust pricing models to support strategic pricing decisions.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor pricing strategies, and customer behavior to inform and refine pricing strategies.
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify new pricing opportunities and emerging trends.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including product management, sales, marketing, business development, and finance to gather essential data and insights.
  • Utilize advanced statistical methods to construct robust value-based pricing models.
  • Clearly present findings, insights, and recommendations to senior management and other key stakeholders.
  • Continuously monitor and refine existing pricing models to ensure their accuracy, relevance, and effectiveness.
  • Assist in the development of compelling business and pricing proposals to support strategic initiatives.
  • Maintain and regularly update pricing structures to ensure alignment with current market conditions and product offerings.

Technical Skills:

  • Proven knowledge in pricing analysis, pricing modeling, business modeling, or a similar analytical role.
  • Strong analytical skills demonstrated through proficiency in data analysis tools and software such as Excel, SQL, Tableau, and Python.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities coupled with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical and analytical concepts clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is preferred.

Requirements/Education:

  • Education: Master’s degree required.
  • Skills: Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau, Python).
  • GPA: GPA of 3.0 or above is preferred.
