Position Summary

We are thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for a Field Operations Intern to join our team. This role provides an invaluable chance to support our field operations teams while gaining practical, real-world experience.

Our three-month, paid, full-time summer internship program is meticulously designed to provide students with professional experience directly relevant to their field of study. Under the direct mentorship of a subject matter expert, interns will undertake and complete a significant project for their assigned department, contributing directly to Dürr’s mission of innovation and excellence.

Key Responsibilities

As a Field Operations Intern, you will actively contribute to various crucial aspects of our field operations, including:

• Assisting with equipment labeling to bolster operational accuracy and ensure safety compliance.
• Supporting project schedule tracking and providing timely status updates.
• Helping to redline and update schematics and drawings based on crucial field observations.
• Maintaining comprehensive drawing logs and document tracking for robust version control.
• Providing basic Protag support, which includes data updates and coordination with project teams.
• Supporting site supervision activities, encompassing progress tracking and meticulous issue documentation.
• Working in close collaboration with operations, engineering, and project teams to successfully complete assigned tasks.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
Willingness to travel out of state to customer sites as required.
• Possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrate good organization and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a program in Engineering, Operations, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and a genuine willingness to learn.
• Basic ability to read technical drawings (comprehensive training will be provided).
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, on-site manufacturing environment.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior exposure to CAD, schematics, or technical documentation.
• Familiarity with project tracking or document control tools.
