About the Job: Sales Intern
ADP is seeking Sales Interns to join their team. This hands-on opportunity offers award-winning sales training within a Fortune 250 company that fosters a culture of inclusion, collaboration, and belonging.
As a Sales Intern, you will participate in an online and formal classroom training program designed to equip you with the skills to prospect for new business and sell solutions to existing ADP clients within an assigned geographic territory. You will be paired with a dedicated ADP Sales Representative who will guide you in generating incremental business primarily over the phone using virtual technologies (online meeting platforms, sales automation software). No prior sales experience is required, as ADP is renowned for its high-quality sales training and will teach you to leverage the latest tools and technology for success.
This role requires integrity, resilience, positivity, and a refuse-to-lose attitude. While sales roles naturally have their challenges, you should be invigorated by obstacles, not weighed down by them. WHAT YOU’LL DO: Responsibilities

- Network with key decision-makers in a designated territory.
- Develop and execute a strategy to prospect targets for ADP payroll and human resources solutions.
- Mine existing and prospective clients for referral business.
- Work with our Training team to grow your selling skills.

- Positive Self-Starter: You possess an upbeat, persistent style, the ability to cold call without fear of rejection, excellent time management, and can present ideas clearly and professionally (on paper, in-person, and over the phone).
- Agile Solution Seeker: You are a problem solver capable of finding answers or solutions, even amidst fast-paced change.
- Continuous Learner: You are committed to ongoing learning and growth. To qualify, you must be currently attending school and have completed at least three years of a four-year bachelor’s degree program.

Compensation
The compensation for this role is USD $15.00 – USD $28.27 / Hour.
(Note: Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity or commissions. Actual compensation will not be less than the applicable minimum wage or minimum exempt salary requirement under federal, state and local laws.)
