Key Responsibilities & Learning Opportunities

  • Sales Team Support: Actively assist the new home sales team in their daily operations, which includes preparing sales materials, organizing documentation, and providing essential administrative support to ensure smooth sales processes.
  • Customer Engagement & Relationship Building: Be the welcoming face of Starlight Homes by greeting and engaging prospective homebuyers. Learn how to initiate conversations, understand customer needs, and create a positive first impression that sets the stage for their homebuying journey.
  • Sales Presentation Observation & Learning: Gain firsthand experience by observing experienced sales consultants deliver compelling sales presentations. Understand the nuances of effectively showcasing our homes, communities, and value propositions, learning how to master our proven sales process.
  • CRM System Management Exposure: Observe and learn the critical role of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems in sales. Understand how experienced sales consultants manage customer data, track leads, log interactions, and ensure accurate, up-to-date information for effective customer follow-up and sales pipeline management.
  • Contract Preparation & Legal Documentation: Learn the vital documentation and legal aspects involved in the home sales process. This includes understanding sales contracts, purchase agreements, disclosure forms, and other necessary paperwork, providing insight into compliance and legal requirements.
  • Event Planning & Coordination: Contribute to the planning and execution of various community events, grand openings, and promotional activities. Learn how these events are strategically designed to attract potential homebuyers and foster community engagement.
  • Comprehensive Training & Development: Actively participate in structured sales training sessions. These sessions are designed to deepen your understanding of Starlight Homes’ diverse product offerings, our comprehensive sales process, and advanced sales techniques, equipping you with practical skills for a sales career.

Qualifications

  • Educational Background: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Real Estate, or a closely related field. Preference will be given to candidates in their Junior or Senior year, or those who have recently graduated from an accredited program.
  • Industry Interest: Possess a strong, demonstrable interest in the real estate, home sales, or construction industries.
  • Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, coupled with strong customer service acumen and the ability to build rapport effectively with diverse individuals.
  • Work Ethic & Drive: A self-motivated, goal-oriented individual with a genuine eagerness to learn and grow within a professional sales environment.
  • Organizational Skills: Possess strong organizational capabilities and a meticulous attention to detail, crucial for managing tasks and documentation in a fast-paced setting.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, for creating presentations and managing data.
  • Team-Oriented & Adaptable: Ability to thrive and contribute effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced, and collaborative team-oriented environment.
