Responsibilities: What You Will Do

As a Civil/Roadway Engineering Intern, you will play a hands-on role in diverse and impactful projects:

  • Contribute to roadway designs, including the layout of alignments and the creation of typical sections.
  • Engage in site assessment and the development of comprehensive engineering reports.
  • Utilize 3D modeling techniques and work extensively with industry-standard software such as Microstation/Geopak, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Open Bridge, Merlin Dash, and Quick Bridge.
  • Work on a variety of project types, including Roundabouts, Bridge Replacements and Rehabilitations, Urban Roads, Rural Roads, and Large Interstate Improvements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support project teams and learn new skills.

Qualifications: Who You Are

We are looking for enthusiastic and driven individuals eager to make a difference:

  • Currently enrolled as a student majoring in any of the following disciplines: Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Construction Engineering, Land Survey, or Structural Engineering, or other related programs with a strong emphasis on Civil Engineering.
  • Possess reliable transportation to and from our office location.
  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic, a genuine willingness to learn, and an eagerness to try new things.
