About the Program:

Our 12-week (May 18, 2026 to August 7, 2026), full-time (40 hours per week), paid internship program provides extensive exposure to key areas of our business. Interns will participate in:

Internship Summary:

The Finance internship offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in accounting operations with financial reporting, analysis, and regulatory support activities. The Finance Intern will receive hands-on exposure to banking operations, financial controls, and regulatory reporting within a growing financial institution.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Aid in the preparation of monthly reporting for the Board of Directors & Investor Presentation; including data analysis, mining regarding loan and deposits balances, and applicable rates and pricing.
  • Prepare general ledger reconciliations and day-to-day accounting activities.
  • Create a detailed expense database to be used in forecasting and budgeting.
  • Verify information produced by the entity (IPE) used in control performance.
  • Perform data analysis to support treasury operations, financial modeling, prepare reports, analyze cash flow, financial performance, and investment strategies.
  • Attend and participate in team meetings to understand planning and decision-making processes, gain insights into team dynamics and exposure to various functions and organizational processes.
  • Attend a continuing education event, branch visit, and participate in a community service opportunity to promote corporate social responsibility.
  • Attend weekly meetings to collaborate with interns from other departments within the company to share knowledge, build power skills, and share experiences in the program.
  • Participate in a presentation at the conclusion of the program, showcasing your learning and contributions to the Executive Leadership team.

What We Are Looking For:

College students who are eager to learn and take initiative in a professional setting with a GPA of 3.0 or higher pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, and possess the following:

Skills/Knowledge:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Outlook, and Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and Data Analysis) and ability to effectively learn and utilize department specific systems and software.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to take initiative and prioritize multiple tasks and projects; consistently meet established deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate confidently, clearly, professionally, and confidently with internal partners, management, and other stakeholders.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Ability to remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting, for prolonged periods of time.
  • Ability to repetitively use a telephone, computer mouse, and keyboard for extended durations.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.
  • Work is performed primarily in a professional office environment.
