Key Responsibilities:
As an MBSE Intern, you will be an integral part of our team, focused on:
- Modeling Mission Architectures: Actively contribute to projects involving the development of comprehensive models for complex mission architectures.
- Developing Analytical Tools: Create and refine analytical tools designed to assess the effectiveness and performance of various systems and capabilities.
- Impacting Mission Success: Play a critical role in advancing mission engineering methodologies, directly enabling customers to make informed decisions that significantly impact mission success.
- Software Development for MBSE: Support the full lifecycle of software solutions, including the design, development, and testing of applications aimed at enhancing MBSE processes.
- Enhancing Tool Interoperability: Implement solutions to enable seamless data import/export across various MBSE toolsets.
- Creating Foundational Artifacts: Develop template models and generate crucial mission engineering artifacts that will serve as foundational support for future analytical tasks and system development efforts.
- Hands-on MBSE Tool Experience: Gain invaluable hands-on experience with industry-leading MBSE tools, specifically Cameo Systems Modeler.
- Learning Core MBSE Concepts: Master core concepts of System Modeling Language (SysML) and Unified Architecture Framework (UAF), understanding their practical applications in architecture and mission engineering.

Qualifications:
We are seeking ambitious and motivated candidates who meet the following requirements:
- Educational Background: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s (BS) or Master’s (MS) degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or an equivalent engineering discipline.
- Programming Proficiency: Basic proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Python, Java, MATLAB, or C++.
- Demonstrated Interest: A clear and demonstrated interest in systems engineering, mission engineering, or a closely related technical field.
- Work Ethic: Self-motivated and capable of working effectively both independently and collaboratively, with guidance and support from experienced team members.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication skills are essential for effective collaboration, thorough documentation of work, and clear presentation of findings.
- Adaptability and Learning: A strong desire to learn new technologies, adapt to evolving project requirements, and embrace continuous personal and professional development is highly valued.
- Academic Standing: A cumulative GPA of at least 2.8 on a 4.0 scale.
