The Technology Innovation Summer Internship offers graduate students a unique opportunity to work with experts and senior researchers across a wide range of emerging technologies. This includes areas such as artificial intelligence, robotics, quantum computing, space technologies, virtual reality, sustainable packaging, and much more.

This specific internship focuses on Next Generation Compute. As an intern, you will collaborate with senior engineers and architects to design cutting-edge High-Performance Computing (HPC) environments and prototype tools. These tools will help enterprises evaluate HPC solutions for AI and other advanced computational needs. You will apply your expertise to build and validate HPC systems at hyperscale and contribute to building technical advisory tools that automate solution fit.

The internship is a 12-week program, and participants are required to be physically located in the United States for its duration.

Responsibilities May Include:

• Assisting in the design, deployment, and configuration of HPC systems across on-prem and cloud environments.
• Working with GPU-accelerated compute clusters to set up networking, storage, and clusters with their orchestrations.
• Supporting the validation and benchmarking of HPC environments.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams on the deployment of HPC systems in real-world use cases.
• Contributing to the design and development of a technical advisory tool for HPC solutions.
• Collaborating with infrastructure engineers to ensure alignment with real-world system architectures.
• Supporting testing and usability improvement of the tool.

Basic Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a Master’s or PhD program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields, with a graduation date of December 2026 or later.
1+ years of experience in an area relevant to Accenture Innovation Technology research foci including, but not limited to, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Understanding of core HPC components: compute nodes, interconnects, parallel storage, workload schedulers.
• Experience with systems operational tools, such as Linux administration and shell scripting.
• Experience with containerization, such as Kubernetes.
• Experience in the deployment of HPC infrastructure supporting large-scale AI services.
• Experience in IaC (Infrastructure as Code) tools, such as Terraform, Ansible, Helm, etc.
• Experience with observability tools, such as Prometheus, Grafana, etc.
• Familiarity with HPC hyperscalers’ cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, GCP.
• Proficiency in Python, Javascript, or similar programming languages.
• Experience with web development frameworks, such as React, Flask, Django, etc.
• Understanding of data structures, such as JSON, SQL, etc.
• Experience with HPC infrastructure and systems.
• Experience with AI/ML software tools, libraries, and applications.
• Experience with API integration.
• Strong work ethic, solid technical aptitude in the area of study, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and experience working on a team.

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, including office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired as set forth below:

California: $70,350 to $205,800
Cleveland: $59,100 to $164,600
Colorado: $63,800 to $177,800
District of Columbia: $68,000 to $189,300
Illinois: $59,100 to $177,800
Maryland: $63,800 to $177,800
Massachusetts: $63,800 to $189,300
Minnesota: $63,800 to $177,800
New York: $66,300 to $205,800
New Jersey: $68,000 to $205,800
Washington: $80,200 to $189,300

Potential Role Locations: New York City, NY; Detroit, MI; Los Angeles, CA; San Francisco, CA.
