Job Title: Intern, Skills-Based Services

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide skills-based services to assist clients and families in meeting identified goals (e.g., coping skills education, parenting skills training).
  • Work with children, adolescents, and/or adults, as assigned.
  • Link families to vital community resources based on their needs.
  • Collaborate effectively with other Georgia HOPE/HCA staff and community partners to ensure seamless treatment, service provision, and case collaboration.
  • Accurately document case notes in the online electronic medical record system (CareLogic).
  • Attend regular team meetings to contribute to collective goals and strategies.
  • Participate in agency trainings, as needed, to enhance professional development and skills.

Intern Position Requirements:

  • Currently working towards a Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services-related field.
  • Possess basic computer skills, including familiarity with using the internet and Microsoft Word.
  • Ability to navigate and utilize the online electronic medical record system (CareLogic).
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
  • Capable of functioning as a member of a multi-disciplinary treatment team and working cooperatively with other agency employees.
  • Commitment to conducting oneself professionally and ethically with clients, co-workers, and community partners.
