About The Role: Network Analyst Intern
As a Network Analyst Intern, you will play a crucial role in supporting the IT infrastructure within our Data Center. You will work closely with various teams across the IT organization, gaining hands-on experience and contributing to essential operations. We are looking for individuals with a background or strong interest in IT infrastructure, including areas such as cable management, networking, data center operations, platform management, and server management.
Reporting Structure & Location:
- Reports To: Network Services Manager
- Location: Cranberry facility, PA (Hybrid remote/in-office role)
- Position Type: Paid, Full-time, Summer Internship
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the maintenance and monitoring of network infrastructure components, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Assist with critical data center operations, which involves server installations, configurations, and troubleshooting.
- Participate in telecom infrastructure projects, contributing to the development and maintenance of efficient and secure communication systems.
- Help with cable management and organization initiatives within the data center to maintain an orderly and efficient environment.
- Collaborate effectively with various IT teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal operation of infrastructure components.
- Document processes, configurations, and changes thoroughly to maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related technical field.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Must have completed Sophomore year of college prior to the internship.
- Demonstrated understanding of fundamental networking concepts, data center operations, and telecom infrastructure.
- Experience in Networking or Firewalls, with a CCNA certification being a significant plus.
Hourly Compensation:
We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The estimated hourly rate for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications, and skills, ranges from $22.69 to $27.50 per hour.
