Job Title: Summer 2026 Intern – Product Development

Internship Program Dates:
May 18th, 2026 – August 3rd, 2026
Compensation & Benefits:
- Lonza is partnered with a local University to arrange housing for interns during the program.
- A housing stipend will be offered to assist with living expenses.
Internship Opportunities Are Available In The Following Department:
- Product Development
Key Responsibilities (Product Development):
- Assist in the preparation, formulation, and testing of prototypes.
- Conduct stability, stress, and compatibility studies to support product development.
- Maintain lab cleanliness, equipment calibration, and inventory organization to ensure efficient operations.
- Follow safety procedures and quality regulations (e.g., GMP, FDA, ISO).
- Support troubleshooting formulation challenges by contributing observations and data from lab tests.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support investigations and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Requirements (Skills & Experience):
- Experience in a lab setting.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills.
- Understanding of basic lab techniques, measuring equipment, and safety protocols.
Target Degree Programs (Including But Not Limited To):
- Chemistry
- Biology
Education and Eligibility Requirements:
- Enrolled full-time in a Bachelor’s Degree Program, in good standing with an accredited educational institution.
- Rising Junior or Senior.
- 3.0 GPA or higher with no academic or correction action on record.
- Required to pass a drug screen and background check upon offer.
