About Lensa

Lensa is a career site that assists job seekers in finding employment opportunities within the US. It functions as a promotional platform rather than a staffing firm or agency. Lensa does not directly hire for the jobs it advertises. Instead, it promotes job postings, like this one, on platforms such as LinkedIn on behalf of its direct clients, recruitment ad agencies, and marketing partners. For this particular opening, Lensa is partnering with DirectEmployers to promote a job for New York State Civil Service. When a user clicks “Apply Now” or “Read more” on Lensa, they are redirected to the official job board or employer site (in this case, NYSIF’s hiring platform).
