Job Description: Intern
General Intro:
MGO is seeking Interns who will have the opportunity to explore various service lines, including Assurance, Tax, and Client Accounting Services. Initially, this position involves performing day-to-day professional services functions for clients.
Schedule:
The position involves working 2 days per week, 4 hours per day. However, candidates must have the ability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week. Options to extend internships into school semesters may be available.
Core Responsibilities:
• Complete assigned tasks/jobs.
• Learn the growth process (identifying and communicating growth).
• Assist with in-office scanning.
• Collaborate and communicate with clients and team members in a professional manner.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing an undergraduate or master’s degree in accounting, or possess equivalent experience in accounting with sufficient coursework to achieve CPA certification.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Possess good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work a minimum 20 hours per week.
Success Factors:
• Ability to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing, in English.
• Must be able to keep client matters strictly confidential.
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills and customer service skills.
