Job Type: Internship

About The Internship:
KerberRose is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Accounting Intern to join their internal Finance team. This is a paid internship opportunity, offering flexible scheduling ranging from 20 to 40 hours per week, depending on the intern’s availability. It’s an excellent chance for students pursuing an accounting degree to gain practical, hands-on experience in a professional office environment, working on a variety of accounting-related tasks.

Location: Green Bay office

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities):
As an Accounting Intern, you will gain exposure to core accounting functions and firm operations, including:
• Learning to navigate various financial systems and tools, applying fundamental accounting concepts in a professional setting.
• Attending an initial training session designed to prepare you for your role and introduce you to team members.
• Reviewing monthly client billing and assisting with posting invoices, ensuring adherence to current process updates.
• Helping to prepare and post monthly journal entries, which includes related data entry tasks.
• Assisting with weekly credit card reconciliations and providing support for the setup or termination of firm credit cards.
• Processing new client forms according to firm procedures to maintain accurate information within Practice CS.
• Entering bank deposits into the system to ensure the accounts receivable ledger remains current and accurate.
• Performing other duties and assisting with additional projects as assigned by the team.
• Collaborating effectively with team members and taking on other responsibilities as needed to support the finance team.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and attributes:
• Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting at a 4-year college or university.
• Availability to work Monday through Friday during daytime hours.
• Demonstrates strong attention to detail and possesses excellent organizational skills.
• Is self-motivated and capable of working effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Possesses strong verbal and written communication skills.
