Job Description

Role Title: Frontend Intern
Location: Hybrid role based in Los Angeles, CA, with flexibility for some remote work.

This internship offers a valuable opportunity to work closely with GenPark’s development team, contributing directly to the creation and enhancement of user-facing features for their cutting-edge platform.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop intuitive and responsive web interfaces.
• Implement designs that provide an optimal user experience across various devices.
• Debug and resolve issues within the frontend codebase.
• Refine existing UI/UX elements to improve user satisfaction and engagement.
• Collaborate actively with team members throughout the entire design and development lifecycle.
• Adhere to best practices and established coding standards to ensure high-quality and maintainable code.
• Gain exposure to and learn about cutting-edge AI-powered retail experiences.

Qualifications:
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for developing responsive, user-friendly interfaces.
• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries such as React or Angular.
• Basic understanding of UI/UX design principles and accessibility standards.
• Knowledge of version control systems, specifically Git.
• Demonstrated strong problem-solving, debugging, and critical-thinking abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Familiarity with APIs and asynchronous programming is considered a plus.
