This is a full-time internship at Stealth Startup, located remotely. Stealth Startup is an early-stage technology and lifestyle company focused on solving premium brand loyalty, backed by experienced industry veterans including the 14-year CMO of Mary Kay, a James Beard winning chef, and the founder of Ritz Carlton Horst Schulze. The company builds innovative, scalable software products, valuing experimentation, rapid iteration, and data-driven decision-making. This role matters because the intern will play a key part in building and enhancing mobile applications, backend systems, and intelligent automation features, contributing directly to real product releases and gaining valuable exposure to startup culture and modern software development practices.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Build Core Features: Play a key role in building and enhancing mobile applications, backend systems, and intelligent automation features from conception to deployment.
• Architect Systems: Design scalable backend services, integrate payment systems, and develop smooth, polished mobile user experiences.
• Collaborate Daily: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to transform product ideas and designs into production-ready code.
• Implement Functionality: Develop and implement critical features such as user authentication, payment flows, core product functionalities, and AI-powered browsing automation.
• Ensure Quality & Performance: Write clean, maintainable, and testable code; debug issues, optimize application performance, and contribute to the evolution of the tech stack.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or possessing equivalent practical experience.
• Experience:
• Strong experience with mobile app development using frameworks like React Native, Flutter, or native Swift/Kotlin.
• Solid full-stack development skills, including proficiency with at least one modern frontend framework (e.g., React, Vue, Angular) and one backend framework (e.g., Node.js/Express, Django, Ruby on Rails).
• Familiarity with payment systems such as Stripe, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or similar integration tools.
• Experience or strong interest in building autonomous browsing agents using tools like Playwright, Puppeteer, or Selenium.
• Skills:
• Core programming proficiency in at least one modern language (JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or Java), coupled with an understanding of data structures and basic algorithmic problem-solving.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs, authentication mechanisms, various database types (SQL or NoSQL), and overall backend architecture.
• Ability to write clean, well-documented, and testable code; demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, crucial for remote team environments, including clear questioning and effective time management.
• Bonus:
• Portfolio or GitHub showcasing mobile apps, full-stack projects, or automation tools.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), containerization tools (Docker), automated testing frameworks, and continuous integration practices.
