Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer Intern

Position Summary:
The Manufacturing Engineer Intern will primarily focus on providing technical support for manufacturing projects. This role involves assisting the Engineering department throughout the entire project lifecycle, from initial scope definition through implementation. The position is located in Bloomington, MN.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The intern’s responsibilities include:
• Providing internal customer technical support.
• Offering part manufacturability technical support.
• Assisting with the implementation of process and design improvements.
• Supporting and ensuring compliance with the company’s Quality System, ISO, and medical device requirements.
Reading, understanding, and following work instructions and standard work.
Partnering with other business segments such as sales/marketing, customer service, engineering, quality, and finance.
• Developing an understanding of customer needs and the core business markets served.

Qualifications:
Candidates for this internship should possess:
Enrollment in a four-year degree program in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
• The ability to read blueprints.
• Proficiency in using measuring devices.
• Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and team building skills to foster effective working relationships.
• The ability to follow through on commitments and hold team members accountable.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher).
Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills.
Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• The ability to prioritize and multitask.

Pay Range:
The pay for this position is USD $25.00 per hour.
