Job Description: Graphic Design Intern (Junior Art Director)
This role is for a Graphic Design Intern, acting as a Junior Art Director, who will work directly with the Creative Director. The primary objective is to shape the visual identity and aesthetic of the YSBH brand across various platforms, including social media, e-commerce, and marketing campaigns. This includes crucial support for up to three new product launches.
Internship Details:
• Availability Period: January 19 – May 8, 2026
• Location: Remote position, open only to US-based applicants.
• Reporting Structure: Reports directly to the Creative Director.
• Meetings: Mandatory weekly check-in meetings with the Creative Director.
• Commitment: 18-20 hours per week.
• Compensation: The internship is unpaid, but interns are eligible for school credit.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Ecommerce & Social Media Content:
• Design Social Media posts for platforms such as Instagram and Pinterest.
• Assist in creating landing page visuals.
• Support product image infographics for the youshouldbehair website.
2. Product Launch Design Support:
• Design packaging mockups, promotional graphics, and product feature visuals.
• Create marketing assets for product launch campaigns across email, social media, and paid advertisements.
• Develop static and motion graphics specifically for social media and retargeting ads.
• Assist with A/B testing creative variations for paid campaigns.

Who Should Apply?
The ideal candidate is a passionate, detail-oriented, and creative individual seeking to build their portfolio and gain practical experience in beauty branding and design.
Applicant Requirements:
• Must be a Junior or Senior (Class of 2026 or 2027) currently enrolled in an accredited college/university.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
• Resume and portfolio are required (portfolios are essential for design applicants).
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) is mandatory; experience with Canva or other design tools is a plus.
• Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory.
• Experience designing for digital platforms (social media, web, etc.) is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt to feedback.
• Possesses strong teamwork, organizational, and communication skills.
• Must be available from January 19 – May 8, 2026, and able to commit 18-20 hours per week.
