Job Title: Public Relations Intern
About the Role: This internship offers a unique opportunity to step into the behind-the-scenes of a brand launch and solo exhibition scheduled for November. It is designed for students or early-career professionals looking to gain practical experience in public relations, marketing, and cultural production while contributing directly to a significant brand event.
Role Description: As a Public Relations Intern, you will be responsible for a range of tasks including drafting and distributing press releases, managing public relations initiatives, and fostering media relations. You will also support strategic communications and contribute to the overall communication strategy of the organization. This is a hybrid role, offering some work-from-home flexibility, but requires you to be based in the New York City Metropolitan Area.
Key Responsibilities:
• Draft, edit, and distribute press releases and other media materials.
• Support various public relations initiatives and maintain/outreach to media lists.
• Assist in strategic communications efforts, including managing social media content and refining brand positioning.
• Contribute to the execution of marketing campaigns, photoshoots, and video content production.
• Assist with the logistical arrangements for the exhibition and installation, particularly for preview and opening programs.
Qualifications:
• A strong interest in fashion, contemporary art, and design is essential.
• A background in Marketing or Art History is preferred.
• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in your approach to tasks.
• Should be flexible, creative, and capable of working independently when required.
• Demonstrates a strong collaborative mindset, as group work is a key aspect of this role.
