Job Description: Journalist Intern

This is a virtual, unpaid six-month internship with a start date as soon as possible. While the internship offers valuable writing experience, it does not provide monetary compensation. Metro Los Angeles and New York City residents are strongly encouraged to apply, though the location is not a requirement for this virtual role.

Responsibilities:
Weekly: Write in-depth industry-related articles, commentary, and/or reviews. The content will cover film, TV, creator, or business-related topics as they identify with and relate to A Hot Set’s target demographic (people of color).

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Journalist Intern position should possess:
Aptitude/interest in writing about the business side of the entertainment industry.
Aptitude/interest in reviewing film or TV series from various genres.
Critical and intellectual thinking skills to write socially relevant fact-based commentary.
