About the Job: Product Manager Intern, Partner Product (Summer 2026 MBA Intern)

This internship is with TikTok’s Partner Product team, which is responsible for the Open API Platform and TikTok Shop’s App Ecosystem, catering to both 1P (first-party) and 3P (third-party) partners. The team’s primary focus is on developing products that empower partners to collaborate effectively with the platform, offering a wide array of service capabilities to enhance merchants’ and creators’ operational efficiency and effectiveness. As an intern, you will contribute to collecting user requirements and designing partner products to deliver effective solutions to target users and clients.

Responsibilities:

Product Design & Documentation: You will be responsible for the function, architecture design, prototype design, and PRD (Product Requirements Document) writing for partner products. This includes, but is not limited to, the planning and design of Open APIs, Open platforms, and various seller integration tools.
Product Iteration & Business Outcomes: Through comprehensive data analysis, you will identify product issues, explore seller requirements, and continuously iterate on products to enhance the seller experience. A key aspect of this role is being accountable for the business outcomes related to product usage by sellers, such as the seller onboarding success rate, catalogue assortment coverage rate, and fulfillment success rate.
Product Lifecycle Management: You will ensure complete product lifecycle management, from the initial design phase through development, launch, and subsequent iterations. This requires effective collaboration with multiple internal departments.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Currently pursuing an MBA degree.
Commitment: Able to commit to working for 12 weeks during Summer 2026.
Platform Familiarity: Familiarity with the product functions and integration design of mainstream DTC (Direct-to-Consumer) platforms (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce, SFCC) and third-party seller tools (e.g., Rithum, Zendesk, Yotpo).
Experience: Previous engagement in integration product design or seller tool product design for related platforms.
Skills: Possesses excellent product experience design capabilities, strong logical analysis skills, and robust data analysis skills, all underpinned by a keen business perspective.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills. Must be able to flexibly adjust strategies in complex environments and ensure the smooth progress of projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

E-commerce Knowledge: Familiarity with TikTok and mainstream e-commerce platforms. Experience in content-based e-commerce is highly preferred.
Technical Understanding: Experience and understanding of APIs and 3P (third-party) integrations.

Job Information:

Compensation: For this Campus Intern position, the hourly rate range in the selected city is $34 – $53.

Benefits: Interns receive day one access to a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, life insurance, and wellbeing benefits. They are also entitled to 10 paid holidays per year and paid sick time (56 hours if hired in the first half of the year, 40 hours if hired in the second half of the year). Interns who are not working 100% remotely may also be eligible for a housing allowance. The company reserves the right to modify or change these benefits programs at any time.
