Job Description: Audit Winter 2026 Internship – Charlotte, NC

This is an exciting career opportunity for an Audit Winter Intern to join CohnReznick’s Charlotte office. The internship runs from January to March• 2026 (*end date varies by office/team).

Your Role:
As an Audit Winter Intern, your primary responsibility will be to become familiar with accounting and auditing procedures and perform these procedures accurately, thoroughly, and timely in accordance with firm standards.

Responsibilities Include (But Not Limited To):
• Working on various aspects of an audit engagement, including cash, bank reconciliations, accounts payable, searching for unrecorded liabilities, maintaining confirmation logs, and preparing audit work papers.
• Assisting with audits, reviews, compilations, and other accounting services.
• Participating in resolving audit issues by obtaining evidence and making inquiries of clients.
• Assisting the team with daily client workflow.

Your Team & Work Environment:
• You will work closely with an engagement team comprising other Interns, Associates, Senior Associates, Managers, Senior Managers, and Partners.
• CohnReznick serves a diverse range of clients across various industries, which may include Consumer & Industrial, Financial Sponsors & Financial Services, Life Sciences & Healthcare, Public Sector, Real Estate, Renewable Energy, Technology & Media, and Private Client Services (industry exposure varies by office).
• The Charlotte office offers amenities, collaborative spaces, and private offices.

Your Experience (Qualifications):
CohnReznick is looking for highly dedicated students who are driven by new challenges and growth opportunities, are strong team players, and believe in providing world-class client service.

The Successful Candidate Will Have:
Academic Pursuit: Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
CPA Track: Planning to complete 150 credit hours between May 2026 and September 2027 to qualify for CPA licensure.
GPA: A minimum 3.0 GPA in both your major and overall.
Coursework: Successful completion of two accounting courses prior to the start of your internship.
Work Authorization: Must provide proof of work authorization such as U.S. Citizenship or permanent residency status to apply.

Desired Skills & Experience (Preferred):
Leadership: Held leadership positions in student organizations, extracurricular activities, and/or on team projects.
Prior Experience: Previous work or internship experience is a plus.
Communication: Excellent communication skills.
Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Adaptability: Able to learn in a fast-paced environment.
Technical Skills: Strong computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
