Design Verification Engineer Intern – Analog Devices (ADI)

This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the verification of digital, analog, and mixed-signal integrated circuit (IC) designs. As a Design Verification Engineer Intern at Analog Devices, you will collaborate with experienced engineers, contributing to the development of test benches, running simulations, and utilizing industry-standard verification tools and methodologies to ensure the accuracy and performance of IC designs. This role is ideal for students seeking to enhance their technical skills in design verification and participate in real-world engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Assist in the development and execution of test benches for digital and mixed-signal product verification.
• Create and maintain basic test environments using industry-standard languages and methodologies such as SystemVerilog and UVM.
• Utilize Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools to run simulations and verify the accuracy of IC designs.
• Help identify and resolve design issues that arise during the verification process.
• Perform coverage analysis and track essential verification metrics to ensure thoroughness.
• Automate verification tasks using scripting tools like Python, Perl, and TCL.
• Collaborate effectively with design teams to understand requirements and support verification planning efforts.
• Document verification processes and present results clearly and comprehensively.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
• Demonstrated coursework or project experience related to design verification, mixed-signal systems, or digital design principles.
• Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to approach complex technical challenges.
• Ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a fast-paced team environment.
