Job Description: Controls Engineering Intern Opportunity

Avancez Assembly has an opening for a Controls Engineering Intern.

Primary Job Responsibilities:
• Learn from plant Manufacturing and Controls Engineers and Process Experts.
• Implement Creative Ideas and drive Continuous Improvement.
• Assist the engineering team with completing automation, tooling, lean, and other engineering projects.
• Assist with design, layouts, and 3D printing.
• Prepare presentations, technical documents, and other project documentation.

• Ability to work up to 32 hours per week.
• Punctual and efficient.
• Self-motivated.
• Continuous Improvement mindset.

Qualifications and Experience:
• Working towards a degree from an accredited College or University in Engineering.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Excel.
• Good communication skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.

Additional Information:
• Candidates residing in California or Colorado are not eligible for remote positions.
