### Job Description: Environmental Engineering Intern – Fall 2025

#### This Opportunity

WSP USA offers hundreds of internships across the United States, providing students with hands-on, meaningful work experience aimed at enhancing their education and professional aptitude. Interns gain exposure to real projects and work directly alongside senior staff. The New York City Earth and Environmental Team is specifically seeking a part-time Environmental Engineering Intern for the Fall 2025 semester. This temporary internship position will be based out of their New York, NY office and is open to individuals currently enrolled in an Undergraduate program.

#### Your Impact (Key Responsibilities)

As an Environmental Engineering Intern, you will:

Support a variety of Environmental tasks with the primary goal of developing your technical, social, and ethical skills.
Learn basic principles of Environmental Engineering.
Assist with project research, field work, and preliminary design calculations and analysis.
Assist in collecting and maintaining project documentation.
Assist in preparing project drawings and maps.
Complete training on assigned tasks.
Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources, and conduct, while adhering to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.
Occasional travel may be required depending on specific project requirements.

#### Who You Are (Qualifications)

Minimum Qualifications:

Actively enrolled in an accredited Environmental Engineering, or related, Undergraduate program.
• An anticipated graduation date of December 2025 or later.
• Must be 18 years or older.
Demonstrated interest in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field, coupled with a strong desire to advance skills relevant to WSP’s work and projects.
• Possess competent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of interacting with others and expressing ideas effectively and professionally to both engineering and non-engineering audiences.
Capable of taking direction from leadership, mentors, and managers to execute projects.
Basic proficiency with technical writing, office automation, software, spreadsheets, technology, and tools.
• A proven track record of upholding workplace safety and the ability to adhere to WSP’s health, safety, drug/alcohol, and harassment policies.
Authorization to work in the United States at the start of the internship.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience using AutoCad, Microstation, and/or ARCGIS.
Prior internship experience and leadership involvement on campus.

#### Compensation

The expected salary range for this position (across all locations) is $20.91 – $29.73 per hour. WSP USA states that this range is what the company, in good faith, believes it might pay and offer, based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, as well as internal equity and specific geographic location. WSP USA reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation.
