Job Description (Detailed):
Her Campus is seeking a Wellness Intern for the fall semester. This is a remote, part-time internship available to current college undergraduate students year-round. Interns must be able to receive academic credit and will be paid a stipend.
Core Responsibilities:
The Wellness Intern will assist the editorial team with a wide range of editorial-related tasks, including:
• Writing and editing relevant wellness articles.
• Working on larger editorial projects and packages.
• Interviewing talent and expert sources.
• Creating and optimizing SEO and e-commerce content.
• Receiving timely writing assignments for the Mental Health, Sex & Relationships, Health, and Wellness sections, among others.
• Expected to work on tight deadlines and turnarounds.
• Given high-level tasks and a lot of responsibility.
Key Qualifications & Skills:
Successful interns at Her Campus Media are expected to gain meaningful, fulfilling, and skill-building tasks and projects. Candidates should possess:
• Current college undergraduate status.
• Strong communication, organization, and strategic thinking skills.
• Working knowledge of all Google for Work tools.
• Hardworking, detail-oriented, efficient, and creative work ethic.
• Passionate about the Her Campus mission.
• A passion for all things Gen Z.
• Comfortable writing about mental health, relationships, sexual health and pleasure, and general wellness topics.
• Interest in writing, editing, research, college trends, and project management.
• An interest in creating content relevant to the wellness vertical.
