Job Description
Role Name: Quality Assurance Intern, SOLIDWORKS Data Apps team
Department/Team: The SOLIDWORKS Data Apps team is dedicated to defining, implementing, and testing new and improved functionality across multiple applications. Their core mission is to ensure that software functionality not only meets but also exceeds user needs and expectations.
Internship Purpose: The Quality Assurance Intern will play a crucial role in supporting the Quality Assurance (QA) team with their ongoing projects and daily tasks. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on and influence user-facing projects, providing the intern with a deep understanding of the software development process. Additionally, the intern will have the chance to advance their CAD/PLM (Computer-Aided Design/Product Lifecycle Management) skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Creating test plans and test projects specifically focused on the migration of data to the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform.
• Migrating customer data to 3DEXPERENCE Platform sandboxes to proactively identify potential issues and functionality gaps within the system.
• Creating detailed issues in the bug tracking system to report identified problems and suggesting areas for improvement.
• Documenting findings meticulously in a knowledge base for future reference and team collaboration.
Qualifications:
• Education: Must be a rising senior actively enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program or a graduate student pursuing a Master’s degree in Mechanical or another Engineering discipline for the entire duration of the internship.
• Academic Performance: A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 / 4.0 scale is required.
• Availability: Ability to dedicate 40 hours per week (full-time internship).
• Technical Experience:
• Experience with 3D modeling is essential.
• SOLIDWORKS experience is preferred.
• Experience with data management is a plus.
• Work Location: Must be able to work onsite in the Waltham office following a hybrid schedule.

• Highly organized, thorough, and precise.
• Software Skills: Well-developed skills in Microsoft Office.
• Language: Strong command of English.
Internship Details:
• Type: Full-time, paid internship.
• Duration: 6 months.
• Location: Dassault Systèmes Corp. offices at 175 Wyman Street Waltham, MA 02451.
• Work Model: Hybrid work model.
• Compensation: Compensation will be commensurate with experience. The total expected compensation range is between $22 and $40 per hour, representing the base salary (or annualized salary based on estimated hourly compensation) and target bonus.
