Job Description: Supply Chain Internship Program
This is a full-time, hybrid telecommute Supply Chain Internship Program with a Job Req ID of 106304.

Role Overview:
Gallo is seeking innovative, driven undergraduates eager to challenge the status quo and bring fresh perspectives to its Supply Chain Internship Program. This program offers a chance to play a pivotal role in streamlining operations and make a significant impact across various supply chain departments.
A Taste of What You’ll Do (Departments/Areas Interns May Work In):
1. Supply Chain Planning:
• Responsible for planning production for bottling, cellar, and materials.
• Serves as the link between Business Units and Operations.
• Accountable for on-time delivery, inventory, and schedule stability.
• Interns will work on developing tools and processes to achieve “Class A” status.
2. Warehouse Operations:
• Focuses on the movement of finished goods within a robust supply chain system.
• Requires understanding of basic warehouse principles like First In First Out (FIFO), product density, and product velocity.
• Accountable for on-time delivery, inventory, and minimizing damages to full goods.
• Interns will contribute to developing tools and processes for a “world class warehouse operation.”
3. Global Customer Service:
• Manages the entire Order to Cash process, fulfilling Distributor/Retailer product needs.
• Provides a vital link between the Winery’s Supply Chain and Customers/Winery Sales.
• Balances and delivers Quality, Service, and Cost goals.
• Interns will work on ensuring superior customer service expectations are met by promoting sales, service, and supply chain activities.
4. New Product Development:
• Leads cross-functional project teams to ensure new products are brought to market.
• Accountable for on-time delivery of new products while meeting quality expectations and aligning with organizational strategies.
• Interns will assist in developing tools and processes to improve time-to-market.
5. Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP):
• Leads Demand Management by facilitating a consensus forecast with Marketing, Sales, and Business Unit leadership.
• Accountable for providing a valid demand signal to cross-functional partners and enabling risk and opportunistic activities to achieve strategic plans.
• Interns will work on developing tools and processes to achieve “Class A” status.
6. Sourcing & Contract Manufacturing:
• Proactively partners internally with stakeholders and externally with suppliers.
• Aims to deliver a winning consumer experience through world-class procurement leadership.
• Supports winery growth and innovation, delivers cost savings, improves supplier quality and service performance, and ensures continuity of supply.
• Provides end-to-end sourcing service from supplier selection through contract management.
What You’ll Need (Required Qualifications):
• Currently enrolled at an accredited college or university.
• Working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Business Management, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Economics, Mathematics, Finance, or Operations Management.
• Will obtain degree between December 2026 and June 2027.
• Experience using SQL, databases or data visualization tools (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau, MicroStrategy, SAP, or Advanced Excel).
• Required to travel up to 5% of the time to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events.
• Must be 18 years or older.
How You’ll Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree specifically in Supply Chain or Operations Management.
• Previous Internships or experiences in Supply Chain or Operations.
• Advanced experience in data analytic tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau or similar tools).
• Experience gathering requirements and designing data & information solutions to meet business needs.
• Record of delivering small and medium analytical solutions with business impact.
• Impeccable attention to detail, passion for processes, systems, and continuous improvement.
• Proven interpersonal skills, ability to collaborate in cross-functional team environments, driven and motivated by accomplishing winery objectives.
