What to Expect:
This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain practical, hands-on experience in both marketing and residential real estate. The intern will collaborate with both the brokerage and marketing teams, supporting a range of functions including branding, property listings, digital content creation, and general real estate operations. This role is ideal for students pursuing degrees in marketing, business, communications, or related fields. It requires a self-starter who is creative, organized, and eager to learn.

Responsibilities:
The intern’s responsibilities will include:
• Performing preparation duties and showings for residential real estate.
• Assisting with marketing efforts for Lange Real Estate and other LANGE brands.
• Supporting the company’s digital presence across social media platforms.
• Creating various marketing materials such as property flyers, marketing packages, and branded content.
• Developing and executing marketing campaigns aligned with current trends.
• Coordinating with vendors for signage and publication placements.
• Learning about and assisting with real estate contracts and legal documents.
• Shadowing real estate agents to understand residential market best practices.
• Operating and assisting with real estate platforms such as MLS and Dotloop.
• Collaborating with the brokerage team to support listing efforts and enhance brand presence.

Minimum Qualifications:
Candidates must meet the following criteria:
Actively enrolled in a university degree program in marketing, business, real estate, or a related field.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Proficient in managing and creating social media content.
• Possess the ability to learn real estate-specific software and marketing techniques quickly.
• Have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.

Preferred Qualifications:
Candidates with the following will be preferred:
• Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Prior experience with real estate or marketing systems such as MLS, Dotloop, or Canva.

Work Environment:
The physical and environmental demands of the job are described as follows:
Light work: Involves occasionally exerting up to 20 pounds of force, frequently up to 10 pounds, or constantly a negligible amount of force to move objects.
Close visual acuity is required for tasks such as data analysis, transcribing, computer use, extensive reading, and visual inspection of small items.
• The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions typical of office or administrative work, but activities can occur both inside and outside.
• A significant portion of the workday is expected to be spent communicating with individuals via phone.

Reporting Structure and Schedule:
Reports to: Residential Team Lead
Location: Wichita, KS
Position Type/Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with the potential for weekend/evening work.
Overtime: Approved Time Only
Travel Requirement: Less than 5%
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
