Job Title: Marketing & Outreach Intern

About the Role:
Paint for a Purpose is seeking a motivated Marketing & Outreach Intern. This position offers a valuable opportunity for a college student or recent graduate to gain hands-on experience in event marketing, lead generation, and client outreach within the dynamic arts and events sector.

Location:
Los Angeles / Southern California (hybrid – some local availability preferred)

Internship Type:
Unpaid (academic credit available) + 10% commission on closed leads

Key Responsibilities (What You’ll Do):
• Research and identify potential clients, including corporate event planners, wedding planners, and local businesses.
• Conduct cold calling and targeted outreach to build relationships and generate new leads.
• Assist in the development and implementation of local marketing strategies aimed at increasing bookings.
• Track and organize leads, calls, and follow-ups meticulously in spreadsheets or a CRM system.

Qualifications (What We’re Looking For):
• Strong communication skills, with confidence in phone interactions.
• A genuine interest in events, art, or marketing.
• Self-motivated and reliable, demonstrating a serious commitment to learning and contributing.
• Based in Southern California, with a preference for candidates in the Los Angeles area.
