Job Description: Passionate Intern

Soccer Shots is seeking a passionate intern to serve children aged 2-8, offering a relevant and fun internship experience for those interested in coaching and the sports world. This role combines energetic coaching with supporting the ‘behind-the-scenes’ objectives of Soccer Shots.

Key Responsibilities (The Internship):
• Conduct engaging soccer sessions for children aged 2 to 8.
• Serve as an energetic coach and contribute to ‘behind-the-scenes’ administrative and development tasks.
• Build local engagement within the community through the power of sports.
• Participate in management shadowing and leadership development activities.
• Develop quality social media content.
• Bring “Soccer Island” alive for kids with enthusiasm and creativity.
• Encourage character development in children through positive reinforcement and modeling.
• Utilize Soccer Shots’ expert-created curriculum during sessions.
• Adhere to all on-site safety and attendance protocols.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with families, staff, and teachers.

Work Schedule:
• Coaching Sessions: Mondays through Fridays (mornings, afternoons, and evenings), and Saturdays (mornings).
• In-Office Work: Weekdays between 9 AM and 5 PM.

Qualifications:
• No Prior Sports/Coaching Experience Required.
• A genuine passion for children and sports.
• Energetic, engaging, and responsible demeanor.
• Strong safety consciousness.
• Demonstrated management skills (or an aptitude for developing them).
• Access to reliable transportation.
• Eligibility to work in the U.S.
• High School Diploma.
